We allow aircraft substitutions for certain aircraft. These may be used in some circumstances if you do not own the add-on. For example, if you would like to fly a flight that requires the Embraer E190 but you do not own an add-on for this aircraft, you are still allowed to use a similar aircraft, such as the Embraer E195. Using the widget below you can check which substitutions are allowed. Please see the Pilot Handbook for more information on aircraft substitutions and when they are allowed.
By default, the widget only shows substitutions for regular/scheduled flights. Enabling this option will show substitutions for historical flights instead, which are more limited.
