VAS ACARS makes use of FSUIPC by default. You can use XPUIPC to make VAS ACARS work using the FSUIPC connector. However, we recommend using our X-Plane plugin instead. Information about how to install the VAS ACARS plugin can be found on this page.

If you would still like to use XPUIPC instead of the VAS ACARS plugin, there are a few things that you need to consider. There are multiple version of XPUIPC available. Depending on your specific X-Plane installation, these might work, or they might crash your simulator. We recommend the version below; this is the most recent version that is widely available. If this version does not work, please try another version listed at the bottom of this page.
Download XPUIPCXPUIPC+ is not currently supported by VAS ACARS. Please use the standard XPUIPC version.
If VAS ACARS cannot connect to FSUIPC even after having installed XPUIPC, please check whether XPUIPC is visible in the X-Plane Plugins menu. If so, please (re)start VAS ACARS with administrative privileges by Running as Administrator. Throughout our testing this has proven to work with VAS ACARS.
There are some minor parts of our flight processing system that do not work with XPUIPC, such as the pushback phase. XPUIPC only registers forward motion, therefore we cannot determine when the pushback phase starts. To fix these issues, we recommend using the VAS ACARS plugin instead.
